Visiting Decatur Lutheran broke an 8-8 tie with a four-run seventh inning and posted a 12-8 baseball triumph on Saturday (May 22) on the road against Villa Grove/Heritage.
All of the seventh-inning runs were unearned.
Mason Wyant, Ryan Cheatham and Noah Davison totaled two hits each for VG/Heritage. Davison drove in three runs. Cheatham scored two runs.
The Hawks (7-8) return to action on Monday (May 24) at home against Toledo Cumberland.
