The Comets dropped a 6-1 softball decision at Villa Grove on Tuesday (May 25) in a non-conference game.
Karsen Rupp collected three of Oakwood’s four hits. Savannah Nevitt had the team’s other single and scored the lone Comet run.
Nevitt and Rupp each had one stolen base.
On Wednesday (May 26), the Comets were outscored in their home finale, 13-7 by Milford.
Rupp and Nevitt swatted three hits each. Rupp drove two doubles and collected four RBI. Alyssa McCoy and Madison Stuebe each added two hits.
Rupp pitched all seven innings and registered five strikeouts.
Oakwood (4-9) returns to action on Monday (May 31) at Salt Fork.
