1) WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG LYRIC?
- Unwritten – Natasha Beddingfield
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten.
2) DO YOU TAKE THE SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONER BOTTLES FROM HOTELS?
Yes – I take them home and save them in a big box to donate to Canteen Run
3) WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PET PEEVE?
People talking with food in their mouth.
4) WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE KIND OF SANDWICH?
An ooey-gooey grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough bread
5) WHAT LIFE LESSON DO YOU HOPE YOUR CHILDREN TAKE TO HEART AS AN ADULT?
That they need to be true to themselves, listen to their intuition/gut, express what they need, and don’t be held back by other people or society’s expectations
6) IF YOU’RE ON A ROAD TRIP, WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO PASS THE TIME?
If I’m driving, I enjoy listening to audiobooks or podcasts. If I’m the passenger, I play games on my phone or look up restaurants or cool things to do where I’m going.
7) PANCAKES OR WAFFLES?
Waffles, but only if they are hot and crisp, not soggy.
8) IF YOU COULD GUEST STAR IN ANY TV SHOW, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHO WOULD YOU PLAY?
I would love to be a zombie on Walking Dead. One that gets a good/memorable kill with lots of special effects. They have a whole zombie school that the extras and actors go to. And it would be neat to experience the transformation through makeup and to see how the effects shots work.
9) IF YOU HAD A PAID YEAR OFF WORK, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Take a month sabbatical somewhere remote and near water, get certified in yoga and Enneagram, travel to visit friends and family in other states and countries, read lots!
10) IF YOU COULD COMMISSION ANY ARTIST, DEAD OR ALIVE, TO COMMISSION A PIECE OF WORK FOR YOU, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?
I would commission one of the contemporary mural artists to do a large-scale piece on the side of a building. I like public art that is visible to all and compelling and draws people to see it. I also like the idea of preserving spaces through art.
