Heritage secured top-10 placers in both the boys’ and girls’ junior high races on Saturday (Aug. 28) at the Doc Acklin Race, in Paris.
Kiara Jones was second in the 30-runner girls’ race. Her 2-mile time was 14 minutes and 17 seconds.
In the 48-runner boys’ race, Clark Roland was ninth with a 2-mile time of 14 minutes and 5 seconds.
The Hawks’ other placers were Eli Denmark-Collins (16th in 14:46) and Clayton Thomas (27th in 16:46).
Heritage will return to action on Friday (Sept. 3) in the Chrisman Cowchip Classic.
