Oakwood’s Case Kopacz finished second, one stroke behind the medalist, on Thursday (Sept. 9) in a golf dual meet at Danville’s Harrison Park against Judah Christian.
Kopacz fired a team-best 43.
Judah won the meet 187-201. The Comets’ team score was its lowest of the season.
Other scorers for the Comets were Kyle McFarland (46), Nate Stewart (51), Lily Harden (64) and Will Crippin (66).
Oakwood (6-9) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 16) against Danville Schlarman Academy at Danville Country Club.
