Holloman leads Hawks at Tuscola Invitational

The Heritage Hawks placed 14th in the 17-school Tuscola Cross-Country Invitational at Wimple Park on Saturday (Sept. 18).
The team was led by freshman Robert Holloman, who ran the 3-mile course in 19 minutes, 5.78 seconds and ended in 46th place in the 152-runner field.
Following Holloman were: Rowan Denmark-Collins (74th in 19:59.06), Hunter Montgomery (87th in 20:39.62), Lukas Carey (91st in 20:48.83) and Cohen Sands (118th in 22:45.91).
In a four-school meet on Tuesday (Sept. 14) at Tuscola, Heritage’s Zach Ruwe was the individual champion in a field of 34 competitors.
His 3-mile time was 18:30.85.
Denmark-Collins was fifth in 19:06.74, Montgomery was sixth in 19:26.93, Holloman was 10th in 20:27.1, Carey was 12th in 20:42.61 and Sands was 25th in 24:16.96.
Tuscola edged Heritage for team supremacy, 29-34.
Heritage will return to action on Tuesday (Sept. 21) at Urbana Uni High.
