Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist Kennedi Burnett earns SJO Daily Athlete of the Week honors for her consistent performance in the first half of the St. Joseph-Ogden High School 2021 volleyball season.
The 5’11” senior had 31 kills in St. Joseph-Ogden’s first three wins before she registered the team’s first triple-double 15 kills, 10 digs and 10 service aces in the 25-16, 20-25, 25-20 win over Decatur St. Theresa.
Over the next nine games, Burnett amassed 68 kills, 70 digs and 16 aces. The Spartans are 11-3 this season.
Burnett also plays for Illini Elite Volleyball Club.
