Heritage’s Kiara Jones was the individual winner in a field of 66 runners on Tuesday (Sept. 21) in the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Junior High Invitational.
Jones traversed the 3,200-meter course in 13 minutes and 16 seconds and had a 30-second margin of victory.
The other Heritage competitor in the girls’ race was Leah DelRossi, who was 23rd in 16:14.
Heritage will return to action on Thursday (Sept. 30) in the Heritage Invitational.
