Knights lose to Hoopeston and Bismark-Henning

The seventh-grade Oakwood girls’ basketball team has had a rough start, dropping its first three contests.
In a 15-10 loss at home to Hoopeston Area on Thursday (Sept. 23), Brooklyn Myers, Avery Trimmell and Chloe Vinson all ended with two points.
Lainee Smith was the top scorer (four points) in a 16-6 loss at Bismarck-Henning on Monday (Sept. 27). Trimmell added two points.
On Tuesday (Sept. 28), Salt Fork rolled up a 26-4 win over the Knights. Myers tallied all of the Oakwood points.
Oakwood (0-3) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 30) at Danville Schlarman Academy.
