Case Kopacz fired a 95 and placed 65th in an IHSA Class 1A boys’ sectional golf tournament on Monday (Oct. 4) at Balmoral Woods Country Club, in Beecher.
There were 111 total competitors.
Kopacz, a second-year golfer competing in sectionals for the first time, did not qualify for state.
For the season, Kopacz had a team-best 46.4 nine-hole stroke average, the best among the Comets. He posted the team’s best score in 12 of 16 meets, including his last eight.
