The Spartans were held scoreless on Wednesday (Oct. 13) in a Class 1A regional semifinal match at St. Thomas More by Monticello, which secured a 7-0 triumph.

SJ-O ends the season with a 13-9-1 overall record.

Five squad members netted at least five goals for the year: Collin Thomey (13), Aiden Cromwell (10), Jared Emmert (seven), Jackson Greer (seven) and Spencer Wilson (five).

Three Spartans ended with at least five assists: Greer (eight), Emmert (seven) and Wilson (five).

Goalkeeper Hunter Ketchum was involved with five shutouts for the season.

Of the top scorers and goalies, only Emmert is a senior.
