Spartan volleyball picks up to wins at home

The Spartans started the week with volleyball victories at home on back-to-back nights.
St. Joseph-Ogden overpowered Prairie Central on Tuesday (Oct. 12), 25-15, 25-4, and took care of Fisher on Wednesday (Oct. 13), 25-13, 25-9.
Against PC, Shayne Immke stroked seven kills and Kennedi Burnett laced four kills. Burnett had a team-high 16 digs along with two service aces.
Becca Steinbach amassed 23 assists and six digs. Immke added two digs and an ace.
Against Fisher, Hannah Fox totaled 11 digs and Burnett contributed 10 digs in the two-set sweep.
Burnett also chipped in with six kills and an ace. Steinbach ended with 22 assists and five digs.
SJ-O (17-4) puts a four-match winning streak on the line on Thursday (Oct. 14) at Stanford Olympia.
