Luci Morris delivered eight kills on Thursday (Oct. 21), but Oakwood lost a three-set volleyball match at Rantoul by identical scores, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21.
Madison Doan and Nikita Taylor each powered seven kills.
Karsen Rupp recorded 20 assists.
On Tuesday (Oct. 19), Rupp delivered 13 assists and five service aces as Oakwood won a 25-10, 25-9 volleyball decision at Danville Schlarman Academy.
Morris chipped in with six kills and four aces.
Doan and Taylor each landed five kills.
Oakwood (4-18), the 11th seed, returns to action in Class 2A IHSA regional tournament play on Monday (Oct. 25) at St. Joseph-Ogden against sixth-seeded Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
