Ruwe places 7th at Chrisman Regional

The Heritage Hawks placed seventh in the nine-team Chrisman Class 1A Cross-Country Regional on Saturday (Oct. 23) and qualified for the sectional.

Sophomore Zach Ruwe was the seventh-place finisher in a field of 74 competitors. His 3-mile time was 16 minutes, 53.6 seconds.

Other Hawks who raced at Chrisman were freshman Hunter Montgomery (23^rd in 17:55.60, sophomore Lukas Carey (30^th in 18:15.5), junior Rowan Denmark-Collins (42^nd in 18:40.5), sophomore Aidan Ashbrook (45^th in 18:58.7) and sophomore Cohen Sands (60^th in 20:25.8).

Heritage returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 30) in the Decatur St. Teresa Sectional at Hickory Point Golf Club.
