Struck breaks school record—again

For the third time this season, senior Bri Struck tied the Heritage school record for kills in a match, swatting 22 on Thursday (Oct. 21), helping the Hawks to a thrilling three-set win against Tri-County in Kansas, 25-19, 20-25, 26-24.
Struck racked up a double-double for the night totaling 14 digs as well.
She was part of a fearsome offensive punch. Kiley Knoll garnered 10 kills, Torie Rothermel landed eight kills and Bryn Wyant finished with seven kills.
Knoll also had seven digs.
For the season, Heritage is 6-5 in three-set matches.
Third-seeded Heritage (22-8-1) returns to action in Class 1A IHSA regional quarterfinal action on Tuesday (Oct. 26) at Martinsville against 13th-seeded Villa Grove.
