SJOCC to host Winter Wassail on Dec. 4
Kick-off the Christmas season with SJCOC’s annual Winter Wassail!
Sherman street transforms into a Christmas wonderland – with lights, Christmas trees, wassail, and Santa. Enjoy storytelling, carolers (U of I’s No Strings Attached), a Christmas tree competition, and a whole heap of Christmas spirit.
Plan on spending an hour with us Saturday, December 4, between 4-9pm. Wassail activities repeat hourly – and admission is limited per hour.
Please note that Santa is very busy at Christmas time. Due to his schedule, Santa can only see 20 Children per hour. He will be available for the first 45 minutes of each hour and will see children on a first-come, first-serve basis (for those that have Santa tickets purchased for that specific hour). You will need a Santa ticket to see him during the Wassail. Santa tickets are sold by the hour so Santa can have time with those who visit.
Tickets are per individual and are sold by the hour (4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm). A Wassail ticket gets access to all Wassail activities. A Santa Wassail ticket gets access to all Wassail activities PLUS it gets a visit with Santa.
Tickets can be purchased at https://sjcocil.ticketleap.com/sjcoc-winter-wassail/.
