Spartans win Thanksgiving Tournament at home

St. Joseph-Ogden completed a sweep over opponents in its own Thanksgiving Girls’ Basketball Tournament, topping Centennial, 54-26, on Thursday (Nov. 18).

Ella Armstrong netted a team-high 18 points, including three baskets from three-point range. Ashlyn Lannert made 11 points, Payton Jacob scored eight points and Peyton Jones chipped in with seven points.

SJ-O (3-0) had an average winning margin of 28 points during the three-day tournament. The Spartans return to action on Tuesday (Nov. 23) at home against Paris.
