Top-seeded St. Joseph rallied from a halftime deficit on Thursday (Dec. 2) to overcome Tolono Unity 34-28 in the championship game of the IESA Class 3A regional at Tuscola.
Unity led, 15-9, at intermission.
Addie Brooks and Katie Ericksen each netted nine points for the Panthers. Ericksen collected six of her points during the third-quarter comeback.
Kenzie Atwood and Tamara Blackburn-Kelley both scored six points. Kayla Osterbur hit four points.
St. Joseph (18-2) returns to Tuscola on Wednesday (Dec. 8) to play in the sectional finals, with the winner advancing to state.
