Brazelton earns top honors at Tolono Unity Invitational

Two St. Joseph-Ogden wrestlers advanced to championship matches on Saturday (Dec. 18) at the Tolono Unity Invitational.
Holden Brazelton captured top honors in the 120-pound weight class. He was 3-0 for the day, with two pins. In the finals, he pinned his opponent in 1 minutes and 37 seconds.
At 113 pounds, Emmitt Holt placed second. He was 2-1 for the day with one pin.
SJ-O had one other tournament placer. Conrad Miller went 4-1 at 160 pounds and finished in fifth place. He posted a team-high three pins for the day.
Quincy Jones, at 220 pounds, was 2-2 overall with two pins. He lost in the consolation semifinals and was one victory away from placing.
SJ-O returns to action in The Rumble in the Land of Lincoln on Wednesday (Dec. 29) and Thursday (Dec. 30) in Springfield.
