Spartans snap losing streak with win over Williamsville

St. Joseph-Ogden’s boys’ basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak on Tuesday (Jan. 4), rallying for a 62-55 non-conference win at home over Williamsville.
The Spartans trailed, 43-42, entering the final quarter, but took the lead for good on a basket 12 seconds into the last period.
Ty Pence led SJ-O with 25 points and six rebounds. Logan Smith registered 11 points and five rebounds. Coy Taylor totaled eight points and four assists. Andrew Beyers ended with six points and four assists.
SJ-O (12-2) returns to action on Saturday in its own SJ-O Shootout. The Spartans play the 8 p.m. finale against Tuscola.
