Julliyan Gray netted 13 points on Friday (Jan. 7), but Heritage was unable to hold onto a fourth-quarter lead and dropped a 50-44 decision in a boys’ basketball game at Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond.
Timmy Wilson added 10 points. Robert Holloman and Brodie Meneely each contributed nine points for the Hawks.
Heritage led 27-25 at halftime and 33-32 after three quarters.
The Hawks (1-14) return to action on Tuesday (Jan. 11) at home against Argenta-Oreana.
