PV-O returns to the court with win over Villa Grove

Exactly one month after it last played a game, the Prairieview Ogden boys’ basketball team made a successful return to action on Thursday (Jan. 6).

Playing at Villa Grove, the PVO eighth-graders were triumphant 49-16 and the seventh-graders were victorious, 41-29.

Coy Hayes led the eighth-graders with 18 points. Parker Fitch tallied 12 points, Kodey McKinney netted 11 points and Graham Ray ended with eight points.

For the seventh-graders, Kaden Wedig poured in 19 points. John Couture notched 16 points. Contributing two points apiece were Garrett Loschen, Lane McKinney and Alex Vaughn.

The eighth-graders are 12-1 and return to action on Wednesday (Jan. 12) at home against Westville. The seventh-graders are 8-2.
