Despite a season-high 23 points from junior Drew Williams, the Heritage boys’ basketball team took a 57-49 loss at home on Friday (Jan. 14) against Blue Ridge.
Junior Julliyan Gray hit 14 points and senior Brodie Meneely added eight points.
Heritage fell behind by 13 points at halftime, 35-22, and cut its deficit in the second half, but couldn’t recover for a victory.
On Saturday (Jan. 15), Heritage dropped a 77-23 decision to Judah Christian in Champaign.
Williams tallied 13 points and Gray totaled seven points.
Heritage (1-16) returns to action on Tuesday (Dec. 18) at Decatur Lutheran.
