Heritage ended the regular season with double losses on Thursday (Jan. 20) at Prairieview Ogden.
The eighth-graders fell, 45-12. Destin Nickle registered seven points. Kale McComas had three points and Clark Roland finished with two points.
The eighth-graders are 2-14.
The Heritage seventh-graders dropped a 46-15 decision.
Cameron Johnson led the way with six points. Brayden Jones made three points. McComas, Roland and Kaden White all added two points.
The fifth-seeded Hawks hit their stride in their IESA Class 1A regional tournament opener on Saturday (Jan. 22), scoring a season’s high in a 48-27 victory over fourth-seeded Chrisman at Chrisman.
Heritage led 9-0 after one quarter.
McComas garnered a game-high 19 points. Roland netted even points, Christian Paul hit six points, Johnson had five and Jones ended with three points.
Prairieview-Ogden ended the Hawks’ season with a 39-12 win in Regional play.
The seventh-graders ended their season at 4-13.
