Oakwood was unable to hold onto a halftime lead on Monday (Jan. 24) and lost at Cissna Park 49-44 in a girls’ non-conference basketball game.
The Comets led, 19-15, at intermission.
Addie Wright led the Comets with 22 points. Karsen Rupp hit eight points, Ashlynn Pinnick added six points and Jaydah Arrowsmith finished with five points.
Oakwood (11-15) returns to action on Thursday (Jan. 27) at Westville.
