Heritage knocked out of tournament play

Heritage was knocked off by Tri-County, 68-43, on Saturday (Jan. 29) in the seventh-place game of the Lincoln Prairie Conference boys’ basketball tournament at Cerro Gordo High School.

Timmy Wilson led the Hawks with 12 points. Brodie Meneely matched his season’s high with 11 points. Robert Holloman made seven points.

Tri-County rushed into a 28-11 lead after one quarter and went ahead, 40-21, at halftime.

Heritage (1-20) returns to action on Tuesday (Feb. 1) at Villa Grove.
