Wilson and Meneely score in double-digits against Villa Grove

The Heritage Hawks matched their season’s high for points scored in a game, but dropped a 64-49 decision on Tuesday (Feb. 1) at Villa Grove.
The two teams combined to sink 21 of their 40 field goals from three-point range.
Timmy Wilson notched 14 points and hit four three-pointers for the Hawks. Brodie Meneely added 11 points and tossed in two three-pointers. Drew Williams hit eight points, including one three-pointer. Aaron Coffin’s six points were built around two three-pointers.
Villa Grove led, 26-16, after one quarter and 47-24 at halftime.
Heritage (1-21) returns to action, weather permitting, on Friday (Feb. 4) at home against Okaw Valley.
