Hawks lose two at home

The Heritage Hawks hit a season’s high for points scored on Wednesday (Feb. 9), but dropped a home decision to Argenta-Oreana, 86-57, in a boys’ basketball game.
Drew Williams eclipsed the 20-point mark for the third time this season. He led the Hawks with 21 points. Julliyan Gray popped in 16 points. Brodie Meneely hit 10 points and Aaron Coffin had six points.
A-O led, 27-10, after one quarter and 50-30 at halftime.
On Tuesday (Feb. 8), Cerro Gordo/Bement won at Heritage, 70-28.
Williams tallied 14 points, Meneely had four points and Coffin ended with three points.
Cerro Gordo/Bement built a 25-4 lead after one period.
Heritage (1-24) returns to action on Friday (Feb. 11) at Tri-County.
