The St. Joseph seventh-grade volleyball team kept its unbeaten streak intact through the IESA Class 3A regionals, which the Panthers won at home on Tuesday (March 1).
To reach the championship match, top-seeded St. Joseph ousted fourth-seeded Paxton-Buckley-Loda in the semifinals on Monday (Feb. 28), 25-19, 25-16.
In the Tuesday title match, the Panthers swept past second-seeded Westville, 25-18, 25-20.
St. Joseph (19-0) returns to action in the sectional, also to be held at St. Joseph Middle School, on Monday (March 7) against an opponent to be determined.
The St. Joseph eighth-grade team (11-6) earned the No. 2 regional seed and will play at home on Saturday (March 5) against seventh-seeded Paxton-Buckley-Loda.
