Villa Grove sophomore Layne Rund finished in a tie for 13th in the high jump on Friday (March 25) in the unofficial Class 1A boys’ state track and field indoor meet, The Top Times Invitational, at Illinois Wesleyan University’s Shirk Center.
Rund’s leap was 5 feet, 8 inches.
The Blue Devils return to action on Thursday (March 31) at Arcola.
