Spartan 3,200-m relay places second at The Top Times Invitational

St. Joseph-Ogden’s 3,200-meter relay placed second on Friday (March 25) in the unofficial Class 1A boys’ state track and field indoor meet, The Top Times Invitational, at Illinois Wesleyan University’s Shirk Center.
The Spartans’ time was 8 minutes, 35.28 seconds. Sharing the baton were Spencer Wilson, Charlie Mabry, Elijah Mock and Luke Stegall.
Two SJ-O athletes were state-placers individually.
Junior Aidan McCorkle was 16th in the 400 meters (56.15). Senior Braden Clampitt was 22nd in the 60-meter hurdles (9.74 seconds).
Team scores were not kept.
