Brady Clodfelder collected two hits for Villa Grove on Friday (April 1), but the Blue Devils lost a 13-1 baseball decision at home to Casey-Westfield.
VG scored its run in the third inning when Sam Bender’s single drove in Cooper Clark.
Clodfelder suffered the loss. He struck out five batters in 2 2/3 innings.
On Saturday (April 2), Georgetown-Ridge Farm knocked off the Blue Devils at home, 10-3. Clark took theloss.
The Blue Devils (1-6) return to action on Monday (April 4) at home against Cerro Gordo/Bement.
