Liam Barr, Cooper Clark, Brady Clodfelder and Luke Zimmerman all clubbed two hits on Thursday (April 7), but the Villa Grove baseball team dropped an 11-7 decision at Salt Fork.
Clark delivered three RBI. Clodfelder, who stole a base, knocked in two runs.
Barr and Zimmerman each knocked doubles.
Clodfelder pitched 2 1/3 innings and struck out four batters.
Clark worked three innings and fanned three. He took the loss.
The teams were tied, 7-7, entering the bottom of the sixth inning.
Villa Grove (2-7) returns to action on Monday (April 11) at home against Tri-County.
