Travis Tiernan pitched a five-inning one-hitter on Monday (April 11) as Oakwood posted a 16-1 baseball win at Watseka.
Tiernan struck out 11 batters.
Joshua Ruch and Griffin Trees both delivered three hits. Trees had a team-high four RBI.
Contributing two hits apiece were Dalton Hobick, Brody Taflinger and Josh Young. Young pounded a double and a home run and knocked in three runs.
Taflinger scored three runs and swiped two bases. Hobick and Young also totaled two stolen bases.
Oakwood (5-5) returns to action on Friday (April 15) at home against Milford.
