St. Joseph-Ogden scored a run in the first inning on Monday (April 11) and never trailed enroute to a 5-1 baseball win at Stanford Olympia.
Caleb Ochs (3-0) scattered five hits and struck out eight in a complete-game pitching performance.
Hayden Brazelton had two hits and one RBI for the Spartans. Coby Miller scored two runs.
Other Spartans driving in runs were Andrew Beyers, Connor Hale and Luke Landrus.
SJ-O (12-2) returns to action on Thursday (April 14) at home against Paxton-Buckley-Loda.
