Brazelton shines in Spartans last two games

Senior Hayden Brazelton played a starring role in back-to-back games for the St. Joseph-Ogden baseball team.
On Thursday (April 13), Brazelton was 4-for-4 with two doubles and two home runs and six runs batted in during a 24-2 win at home over Paxton-Buckley-Loda.
On Friday (April 14), Brazelton pitched seven-inning four-hitter and struck out 13 batters in a 4-1 win at Centennial.
SJ-O had no lack of standouts against PBL.
Adam Price was 3-for-3 – with three doubles – and four RBI. Andrew Beyers, Griffin Roesch and Charles Voorhees all finished with two hits. Roesch had two RBI.
Coby Miller homered and knocked in three runs. Jack Robertson had two RBI. Tyler Altenbaumer and Luke Landrus each scored three runs.
Altenbaumer picked up his fifth pitching victory. He fanned five batters in two innings.
Roesch and Avian Gerdes each pitched one inning and fanned two batters.
Against Centennial, Beyers delivered two hits and Altenbaumer scored twice.
SJ-O (14-2) returns to action on Monday (April 18) at Prairie Central.
