Braydon Dowler was a two-event placer for Villa Grove in the Thursday (April 14) Monticello boys’ track and field invitational.
Dowler placed fourth in the 200 meters (24.15 seconds) and eighth in the 110-meter hurdles (19.59 seconds).
Two Blue Devil teammates also secured top-eight finishes.
Layne Rund took third in the high jump (5 feet, 6 inches) and Luke Zimmerman ran sixth in the 3,200 meters (11:21.36).
Villa Grove returns to action on Friday (April 22) at Tuscola.
