Isabella Reed and Paige George each landed three hits on Monday (April 18), but Heritage dropped a 22-7 softball decision at Arcola despite hitting a season’s high for runs scored. George scored three runs and Reed crossed home plate twice.
Destanee Morgan contributed two hits. Bri Struck totaled two hits and two RBI.
Adena Paul recorded two strikeouts in three innings.
On Wednesday (April 20), the Hawks lost a 15-0 decision at Villa Grove.
George was 2-for-2. Reed had one hit as did Madeline Thompson, who was 1-for-1.
Heritage (0-10) returns to action on Thursday (April 21) at Oakwood.
