Four Hawks score against AL-AH

Sam Gilbert produced two hits for Heritage, which dropped a 15-4 baseball decision at home on Monday (April 25) to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond.
Kamble Pearman and Zaien Smith also landed hits for the Hawks. Robert Holloman stole two bases and drove in two runs. Teammates with one RBI apiece were Pearman and Brennan Struck.
Scoring the runs for Heritage were Holloman, Klayton Jungas, Joey Markstahler and Brodie Meneely.
Meneely struck out six batters in four innings, but absorbed the loss.
On Wednesday (April 27), the Hawks dropped a 15-0 decision at Blue Ridge.
Pearman had the lone Heritage hit. Both Holloman and Smith reached base by drawing walks.
Heritage (1-8) returns to action on Monday (May 2) at home against Toledo Cumberland.
