Samantha Dunavan, Savannah Nevitt, Alaina Rothwell and Karsen Rupp all totaled two hits on Tuesday (April 26), but Oakwood’s softball team took a 17-9 loss at North Vermillion, Ind.

The Comets scored six of their runs in the fourth inning with Dunavan, Nevitt, Rothwell and Rupp all driving in runs. Nevitt socked a double and Rupp belted a triple in the inning.

Oakwood (4-13) returns to action on Friday (April 29) at home against Chrisman.
