Oakwood’s 800-meter relay produced the school’s top finish on Friday (April 29) at the Monticello girls’ track and field invitational.
The foursome of Taylor Smoot, Alyssa Wells, Luci Morris and Gwen Cambron were 11th in 2 minutes, 8.44 seconds.
Wells was 16th in the 300-meter hurdles (57.39 seconds). Nikita Taylor placed 12th in the 400 meters (1:08.37).
Oakwood returns to action on Tuesday (May 3) in a meet at Seeger, Ind.
