Two Villa Grove athletes secured top-10 placements on Friday (April 29) in the Spartan Classic boys’ track and field meet at St. Joseph.

Layne Rund tied for eighth in the high jump (5 feet, 4 inches) and Braydon Dowler took ninth in the 200 meters (24.55 seconds).

The Blue Devils will return to action on Friday (May 6) in the Lincoln Prairie Conference meet in Arcola.
