Immke hits grand slam in Tolono

Shayne Immke slammed a grand slam for the second time in her last three games on Thursday (May 12) as St. Joseph-Ogden upended Unity, 6-1, in Tolono.
Addy Martinie belted her team-leading 10th home run, a solo shot. Immke’s home run was her ninth of the season.
Hallie Brazelton, Immke and Martinie all ended with two hits.
Madison Stevens pitched 5 2/3 innings and picked up her fourth win. She scattered six hits, walked one and struck out one.
Alyssa Acton protected the lead by hurling 1 2//3 scoreless innings.
SJ-O (24-8-1) concludes the regular season on Monday (May 16) at Charleston. The Spartans have won seven games in a row and 10 of their last 11.
