Heritage produced top-eight finishers in two events on Wednesday (May 18) at the Tuscola boys’ Class 1A track and field sectional.
The Hawks had no state-qualifiers.
Individually, Zach Ruwe was seventh in the 800 meters (2 minutes, 8.32 seconds).
The Hawks’ 3,200-meter relay ended in sixth place. The relay runners were Rowan Denmark-Collins, Cohen Sands, Aiden Ashbrook and Ruwe. Their combined time was 9:30.84.
Team honors in the 16-team meet went to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond with 99 points. Heritage was 15th with two points.
