St. Joseph-Ogden posted wins in three of six singles matches on Wednesday (Aug. 24), but dropped a narrow 5-4 decision to Decatur St. Teresa at Atkins Tennis Center.
Earning wins for SJ-O were Lauren Lannert (6-3, 6-2 at No. 4), McKennah Hamilton (7-6, 2-6, 10-6 at No. 5) and Caroline Aden (5-6, 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6).
In doubles, the duo of Emma Thurman and Katie Earley was triumphant, 6-3, 6-0.
On Tuesday (Aug. 23), SJ-O suffered a 9-0 loss to Urbana at Blair Park.
SJ-O (1-2) returns to action on Monday (Aug. 29) against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at the Atkins Tennis Center.
