Grant Powell had a hat trick and two assists on Thursday (Aug. 25) as Oakwood/Salt Fork played its soccer home-opener and blanked Watseka, 10-0.
The Comets’ defense prevented the Warriors from getting a shot. Oakwood/SF launched 36 shots.
Reef Pacot scored twice and added an assist. Brody Taflinger had one goal and two assists. Saul Carrillo netted two goals and Ty Smoot totaled two assists.
Macen Phillips and Jacob Pricer also tallied goals. Rylan Manning had one assist.
Oakwood/Salt Fork (2-0-1) returns to action on Monday (Aug. 29) at Monticello.
