Jackson Greer netted two goals and teammate Logan Mills added a goal and an assist on Monday (Aug. 29) as the St. Joseph-Ogden soccer team posted a 5-1 win at Danville Schlarman.
The Spartans led, 3-0, at halftime thanks to the two tallies from Jackson and one from Ryker Lockhart.
Collin Thomey had the Spartans’ other goal. Adding assists were Alex Acosta, Will Childers, Aiden Cromwell and Spencer Wilson.
The goalkeeping duties were shared by Hunter Ketchum (four first-half saves) and Carter Mabry (three second-half saves).
SJ-O (2-1-1) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 1) at home against Hoopeston Area.
