Junior Peyton Williams smashed 10 kills on Monday (Aug. 29) as the St. Joseph-Ogden volleyball team topped visiting Decatur St. Teresa, 25-20, 25-16.
Taylor Hug handed out 18 assists to go with six digs and two service aces. Shayne Immke registered seven kills and two digs. Mikyla Haley contributed eight digs and one ace.
On Tuesday (Aug. 30), the Spartans were handed a 25-22, 25-22 setback at Mahomet-Seymour.
Hug registered 14 assists and six digs. Immke pounded nine kills to go with five digs and three blocks. Addie Roesch contributed four kills and three aces. Haley finished with seven digs.
SJ-O (2-3) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 1) at home against Teutopolis.
