Oakwood golfers recorded the lowest three scores on Thursday (Sept. 1) to help the Comets win a three-school meet at Farmer City’s Woodlawn Golf Course.
Meet medalist Case Kopacz (40) was followed by Mason Goodner (47) and Nate Stewart (49).
Other Oakwood participants were Kyle McFarland (58), Gage Warren (63) and Riley Whaling (70).
The Comets’ 194 team composite was a season-low. Buckley Christ Lutheran finished in second place (229) and Blue Ridge was third (250).
Oakwood (5-6) returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 6) in a meet at Danville’s Harrison Park.
