Senior Aidan Cormwell netted a goal in each half on Monday (Sept. 12) as the St. Joseph-Ogden soccer team posted a 5-2 triumph in Farmer City over Blue Ridge.
Other goal-scorers for the Spartans were Will Page, Alex Acosta and Jacek Slowikowski.
Assisting for SJ-O were Collin Thomey, Logan Mills and Zach Harper.
The Spartans held a 3-2 lead at halftime.
The goalkeeping duties were shared by Hunter Ketchum (three saves) and Carter Mabry (two saves).
SJ-O (5-2-1) returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 17) at home against Illinois Valley Central.
